Female Coach

Female Coaching Roles

We are delighted to announce 3 new coaching positions with Gloucestershire FA’s Girls Advanced Coaching Centre.

We are looking for 3 female coach mentees to join us within the programme for Season 2017/2018.

As part of The FA Women’s’ and Girls’ National Strategy to increase and develop female coaches, the mentee roles will support committed and ambitious female coaches who are looking to develop in their coaching pathway and gain experience of working in a Talent Pathway programme.

The role of the individuals selected will be to support the delivery of practical football sessions in line with the Girls’ Advanced Coaching Centre technical programme.  Each coach will shadow a head coach to gain experience and insight into planning, preparation and evaluation to drive individual player development.

The Advanced Coaching Centre (ACC) is licensed and supported by the Football Association. The purpose of the Girls’ ACC is to identify players with potential and place them in a technical and educational programme designed to produce a pathway into football excellence in conjunction with personal development.

It provides talented young female players (aged groups U12s, U14s, U16s) throughout Gloucestershire and its surrounding areas with weekly additional training and fixtures, whilst still playing for their club and is one of the only recognised pathways into the female England Football team structure.

Please see the Person Specification highlighting the essential and desirable criteria for the roles.

If you are interested in applying for one of these positions please submit your CV and a Covering letter by the closing date of Monday 31st July 2017 .
