Females In Football

Gloucestershire FA have embarked on a project that aims to inspire more females to get involved in the many different areas that football has to offer.

The Initiative places local role models in the spotlight. The roles these women fulfil range from coaches and players through to board members, mentors and those who are involved in the administration of the game.

When we think of football we immediately think of players and coaches, and rarely do we think beyond these roles, when in fact there are many more opportunities to get involved with the beautiful game!  Through this project, we hope to showcase the fantastic work that many females are involved in across the county, and in turn engage with more girls and women. We want to inspire women and girls to get involved in the game in whatever capacity they may be interested in and show that it can be done!
