Tournaments and Festivals

The Gloucestershire Football Association has the responsibility of sanctioning small-sided tournaments, charity and benefit matches held within the county.

Applications can be made by completing the form available at the foot of this page under the heading 'documents'. Competitions and Tournaments involving adult or youth teams affiliated with four or more different County Associations or an international team require approval from The FA.  A completed Form D, set of tournament rules and payment of £90.00 (inclusive of VAT) (payable to the ‘Football Association Ltd’) must be sent direct to The FA, Wembley Stadium, PO Box 1966, London, SW1P 9EQ.

Organisers of tournaments involving foreign opposition or clubs travelling to play in tournaments overseas require additional authorisation from The FA. This must be done at least 60 days in advance. The application form and guidance notes are available to download under the ‘documents’ heading, located at the foot of this page. This form must be returned to the Gloucestershire Football Association prior to submission to The FA. Please allow additional time in your application to allow forms to be processed by the county association and then forwarded to The FA.
