New electric vehicle (EV) car charging points are now available for public use at the Gloucestershire FA headquarters in Almondsbury (BS32 4AG). 

The 22kW fast charging points at Oaklands Park Stadium can be found on the Monta app/website. This will give you directions, costs, and availability as well as instructions on how to use and pay for your charge. Our EV charging station is available 24/7 and has space for three cars at any one time.

David Neale, Gloucestershire FA CEO: “This is an exciting development at Oaklands Park. It is part of the ongoing modernisation of our facilities which includes a strong commitment to renewable energy. Everyone’s Energy recently installed solar panels on the main building which enabled the GFA to use a more environmentally friendly energy source and is supporting the new EV charging service for visitors to Oaklands Park.” 

This announcement coincides with Green Football Weekend 2024, when the game comes together to take a stand and make positive changes in the fight against climate change.
