Rainbow Laces 2023

Since the start of the campaign in 2013, over a million people have laced up in support of LGBTQ+ inclusion in sport, fitness & physical activity. Whilst this is great, large parts of the LGBTQ+ community still can’t be their true selves whilst attending or participating in sporting events. 

As a result, the Gloucestershire FA are asking clubs and match officials to ‘Lace Up to Keep it Up.’

The campaign will run throughout November & December (25th November – 10th December) 2023 and we want your support.  

Clubs 

We are asking our clubs to get involved in the campaign by wearing Rainbow Laces and telling us what your plans are during the month. Whether this is dedicated fixtures or fundraising activities, we want to know and will look to work with clubs to support and share any ideas.

Match Officials

GFA Staff will be taking on some challenges during the campaign, so please keep your eyes on our social media throughout the month for more! 

Please note, we only have a set amount of Rainbow Laces and will contact all applicants regardless of whether successful or not.
