We're recruiting for a new member to join the Gloucestershire FA as Football Development Officer (Workforce)

FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (WORKFORCE)

Gloucestershire FA is the not-for-profit governing body of football in the County. We grow participation, promote diversity and enable football to thrive so that everyone can participate in a safe & inclusive environment. With over 600 Clubs, 700 referees and 2,400 teams of all ages and abilities playing in the County, Gloucestershire FA is proud to support Football For All.

Our staff are a friendly and inclusive team and as an organisation, we promote the health, well-being and development of our colleagues. We have a hybrid flexible working environment that enables staff to work from the office as well as offering the flexibility of working remotely from time to time.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Gloucestershire FA, where you will support the development of the grassroots game across the County. We are looking for a person with enthusiasm, energy, and a positive outlook with a passion for sport. The successful applicant will help develop the volunteer workforce and grow football participation across our recreational league pathways.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) permanent role and a salary of up to £24,000 pa (dependent on experience) is offered plus staff benefits including a personal development programme, high-quality training, networking opportunities, contributory pension, life insurance and a staff reward and recognition programme.

As a Football Development Officer, you will support the growth of female participation via Wildcats, Squad Girls, Recreational leagues and female Walking Football in support of the FA’s ‘Inspiring Positive Change’ Strategy, and in partnership with our key stakeholders.

We are looking for a person with enthusiasm, energy and a passion for sport who can engage with, influence and support both the professional and volunteer workforce within Gloucestershire.
