Clubs should be aware of the following rule changes effective this season.
- Teams playing in the Women’s Trophy, Women’s Challenge Cup plus Senior Amateur, Junior, Intermediate, Minor and Primary Cups will be permitted to name and use five substitutes (previously three substitutes) in these matches this season.
- To be eligible to play in a semi-final/final, players must have played in at least three matches for their club (previously five matches for their team).
- Any club with multiple teams must fulfil its county cup fixtures in order of precedence. In the event of a higher team withdrawing, all lower teams within the same club will be withdrawn from their respective cup. Opponents will be awarded a walkover to the next round. This is a new rule for 2023/24
- Any team failing to fulfil a cup fixture will be fined a minimum £50 (dependent on the level of competition)
