The FA and McDonald’s Grassroots Football Awards 2021

Gloucestershire FA Grassroots Football Awards Evening

The FA and McDonald’s Grassroots Football Awards are for people who make a positive difference.

It is our way to celebrate the fantastic individuals who put their heart and soul into the grassroots game across Gloucestershire and say a huge thank you to the incredible volunteers who inspire us all.

The past 18 months have been a difficult period for football and society. The coronavirus pandemic presented us with many challenges, hardships and personal losses.

However, throughout this period our volunteers have faced up to the challenges by adapting, keeping together and helping one another. Your commitment and dedication have made sure grassroots football in Gloucestershire has come through the pandemic. You make football fun, inclusive and enjoyable for all.

On the evening of Wednesday 18 August, we came together to celebrate and say thank you to our amazing volunteers for all your hard work. The evening was our first ever virtual awards evening. Please find the recording of the presentation evening.
