Referee Registration 2021/22

The Referee Registration for 2021/22 is now available to GFA Match Officials

The short online re-registration process on the Whole Game System (WGS) allows you to update your contact details, complete an equality/diversity form and state the types of football you would like to cover.

The cost of Registration to Gloucestershire FA remains at £20.00 for the season.

It is important Referees meet the required Safeguarding standards and have in-date qualifications. If your qualification is no longer in-date please follow the link below to complete the FA's Safeguarding For All course. The online course provides a basic overview of how to safeguard children, looking specifically at best practice, poor practice, and abuse topics.

If you are under 18, the course will explain how to safeguard yourself. This course is the perfect place to start if you have not done a Safeguarding qualification before.

Bluefin Sport, our appointed insurance broker, provide insurance to clubs, teams, leagues and match officials with insurance products tailored to the needs of grassroots football.Referees have the option to purchase Group Personal Accident Insurance (GPAI) at a price of £5.00Further details are shown in the Summary of Benefits Brochure and be downloaded at the foot of the page.

Referees can also opt to participate in the Gloucestershire FA Benevolent Fund by making a voluntary donation. The Fund provides some financial support to those injured whilst officiating and suffering a loss of income.

It’s important to remember that if you have not registered you should not officiate in League fixtures, competitions, tournaments or friendly matches until you have completed the process.
