GFA Girls ACC Trial Registration Form 2020-21

Gloucestershire FA Girls Advanced Coaching Centre (ACC) Trial Registration Form 2020-2021

Gloucestershire FA are currently putting plans in place to safely re-launch the FA Licensed Advanced Coaching Centre (ACC) here in Gloucestershire following the FA's Coronavirus 'Return to Football' guidelines.

The ACC is a bespoke programme designed to support the development of Elite Female Players across the South West of England from U12’s to U16’s for the 2020-2021 season.

The Gloucestershire FA ACC provides a professional environment to allow Elite Female Players to reach their full potential within the game and have the opportunity to progress up the Player Pathway.

As well as additional coaching, players can expect to receive 1:1 support from their coaches, additional opportunities for learning outside of training, player reviews throughout the season, support from FA members of staff around injury prevention and a Nike Kit package.

The Programme will continue to support the long term development of the players and provide them with the tools to achieve their goals while moving through the FA’s England Talent Pathway.

The ACC will be based at Gloucestershire FA, Oaklands Park, Almondsbury, Bristol, BS32 4AG on the 3G Football Pitch and this training will take place on Monday evenings as detailed below. Players must live within a 90 minute/90 mile radius of the training venue. Player’s ages are based on School Years from September 2020:

U12's (Year 6 & 7) 5.45 - 7.30 PM
U14's (Year 8 & 9) 7.15 - 9.30 PM
U16's (Year 10 & 11) 7.15 - 9.30 PM

The ACC provides extra training and support in addition to coaching players receive at their grassroots club. Every player will continue to play for their club, and receive extra coaching one evening a week from FA qualified coaches. This includes specialist coaching for goalkeepers.

Players will also play in Regional ACC fixtures and festivals against other Advanced Coaching Centres in the South West Region and a fixture programme that will involve playing against mixed teams predominantly during School Holidays and occasional weekends.

We encourage players playing in Girls Teams and Mixed Teams to attend the trials as well as those who play football with their school.

To be eligible for selection for the ACC, girls must be playing in an affiliated grassroots club during the 2020-2021 season and be eligible to represent England.

Registeration for the Girls ACC 2020-21 has now closed.
