Kick Start funding available for youth football teams in the Forest of Dean

The Ashley Scrivens Foundation and Andrew Sutton Foundation have teamed up to make starting up a new youth football team in the Forest of Dean a whole lot easier. The Kick Start Scheme, launched on the 5^th April 2019, gives youth football clubs the opportunity to apply for a bespoke Kick Start package with everything they will need in their inaugural year.

Applications are encouraged from existing clubs looking to set up another team or from any group looking to form a brand new team. The funding will be used to provide new teams with a Kick Start package including; fully bespoke kit, training and match balls, training equipment and match day resources. There will also be funding to support coaching qualifications, Gloucestershire FA and league affiliation fees and support with pitch costs.

The application window for Kick Start funding is now open and closes on Friday 5^th July 2019 for the 2019/20 season.
