Bristol Rovers EFL Community Day of Action

Bristol Rovers Youth Disability Team to train alongside Bristol Rovers FC first team squad on Tuesday 19th March.

All 72 EFL clubs will take part in the Day of Action with the aim of highlighting the positive impact and contribution clubs make in their local communities.

This year, Bristol Rovers Community Trust along with the Gloucestershire FA have developed two new youth disability sessions for players aged 6-16 years old, as well as supporting weekly coaching sessions in South Gloucestershire and Stroud College.

Students from South Gloucestershire and Stroud College’s popular disability football session will arrive at Bristol Rovers FC training ground in the morning to train with the first team squad, before joining the players for lunch.

The EFL Day of Action is another example of Bristol Rovers FC ongoing commitment to disability football, with both the youth and adult teams invited to the recent Community Football Day at the Memorial Stadium on 11th March 2018.
