The FA are recruiting 7 new National Game Council Members from the start of the 2021/22 season

The FA are recruiting 7 new National Game Council Members from the start of the 2021/22 season to enhance the diversity of the Council.

The FA is seeking to appoint seven new members of The FA Council with the remit to represent different football communities within the National Game. (National Game is the term applied to football from the semi-professional level of the game right through to the grassroots level).  These positions will be appointed by the FA National Game Board. 

You should be under 65 and have an active involvement in football at any level within the National Game (e.g, you may be a player, coach / manager, match official or club / league official). 

Council Members should attend each of the 5 scheduled Council meetings per annum. Meetings are usually on a weekday, commencing at 11.00am at Wembley Stadium. Committee meetings are held at differing intervals but are usually on a weekday at Wembley Stadium. During current lockdown restrictions, meetings are being held using Microsoft Teams.

Council Members can serve for a maximum of 3 terms of 3 years
