Grassroots football guidance from the fa issued 16 october 2020

Grassroots Football Guidance update 16 Oct

FA guidance on outdoor football remains the same after the latest Government advice

Following the UK Government’s latest announcement regarding the introduction of local COVID alert levels, our guidance for grassroots football, which includes NLS Feeder Leagues (Step 7) and below of the Men’s Football Pyramid and Tier 7 and below of the Women’s Football Pyramid, remains the same.

It is extremely important that clubs, players, coaches, match officials, league officials, volunteers, parents, carers, and facility providers continue to strictly follow this guidance as well as the UK Government’s latest guidance on COVID-19.

Gloucestershire FA and County FA's continue to work closely with local authorities to determine their regional situation and, if necessary, we will issue updated information in line with local COVID alert levels.

We have requested clarity from the UK Government on travel into or out of areas with ‘very high’ local COVID alert levels by clubs in Steps 3-6 of the National League System and Tiers 3-6 of the Women’s Football Pyramid for fixtures and will provide a further update as soon as possible.

Throughout this period, we have taken UK Government advice with our priority being the health and wellbeing of all. The FA continue to work closely with the grassroots game during this time.
