Gloucestershire FA Girls Coaching Centre (GCC) 2022/23

The GCC is a bespoke programme that will be replacing the former ACC programme, designed to support the development of Female Players across the South West of England from U12’s to U16’s for the 2022-2023 season.

The Gloucestershire FA GCC provides a professional environment to allow Female Players to reach their full potential within the game.

As well as additional coaching, players can expect to receive 1:1 support from their coaches, additional opportunities for learning outside of training, player reviews throughout the season and support from staff around injury prevention. The Programme will continue to support the long term development of the players and provide them with the tools to achieve their goals. The programme will also offer specialised Goalkeeper training every other week.

The GCC will be based at Gloucestershire FA, Oaklands Park, Almondsbury, Bristol, BS32 4AG on the 3G Football Pitch and this training will take place on Monday evenings. Players must live within a 90 minute/90 mile radius of the training venue.

To be eligible for selection for the GCC, girls must be playing in an affiliated grassroots club during the 2021-2022 season

Trial Dates

• 13th June - OPEN Trials - U12's and U14's (Maximum 50 players per age group)

• 20th June - OPEN Trials - U12's and U14's (Maximum 50 players per age group)

• 27th June - INVITATION Trials (Returning ACC Players and successful OPEN trial players) - U12's and U14's

• 11th July - OPEN Trials (including returning ACC Players) - U16's

Note: Trials places are selected on a first-come, first-served basis. When registering for the U12's and U14's OPEN Trials, please ensure you are available for both dates.
