Gloucestershire FA are delighted to be supporting the #RainbowLaces campaign 2018.

The Rainbow Laces campaign is a way for everyone involved in sport to show their support for LGBT+ equality and inclusivity.

Gloucestershire FA staff, local leagues, clubs and officials will be wearing their laces with #PRIDE to show their support for LGBT people in sport.

From 17^th November until 2^nd December we will be supporting the campaign by running a series of Retweeting Competitions as well as encouraging all those who have received their #RainbowLaces to post photos and messages via all social media channels, this way helping to spread awareness and encourage our followers to join the movement.

On 28^th November, officially wear your Rainbow Laces Day, County FA staff will be lacing up to raise awareness. Please tag @GlosFA and @StonewallUK in your messages of support and use the #RainbowLaces

Homophobia, biphobia and transphobia remain a problem at all levels of sport.

Through football you can show your support for LGBT fans and players on and off the pitch, challenge anti-LGBT language and work with us to make sport everyone's game.

See It, Hear It, Report It

Whatever your role in football in Gloucestershire, we want you to feel reassured and confident that by reporting any type of abusive or discriminatory behaviour that this will be dealt with appropriately and will not be tolerated.
