Seeking a Club Secretary and Team Coaches

There is a lot of work involved in running a club and the key to success is sharing the workload. Clubs relying on one person to manage different roles and tasks find it difficult to operate and we are seeking more volunteers to help us run Charfield Juniors.

We are looking for a Club Secretary. It’s one of the most important roles in the club as they are the main contact between the club, the competition (League) organisers and Gloucestershire FA. The Secretary’s main duties include County FA affiliation, league membership, dealing with correspondence, maintenance of club records, maintaining a player register and occasionally dealing with football disciplinary matters. Much of this can be done online via the FA’s Whole Game system and training will be provided.

We also need Team Coaches for our teams at age 5 – 11. All coaches need to have or be willing to obtain an FA Level 1 coaching qualification as this helps ensure our children enjoy football in a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment.
