Safeguarding Recertification

A course is available for those involved in Youth football to get their Safeguarding Qualification recertified.

The recertification is to be completed online and is free of charge. Case studies, interactive tasks and interviews are used to bring the material to life. An eligible candidate is anyone who has taken a 3 hour, face to face Safeguarding Children Workshop and whose qualification is over two years old.

The course includes:

  • The role of designated people in football
  • Safer practice with Under 18's
  • Safer use of social media
  • Safeguarding disabled children
  • Listening to children
  • Recognising and responding to poor practice and abuse
  • How and when to report

On completion your FAN will update with a new qualification and you can also print a certificate. Please note it may take up to seven days for your FAN to update.
