HACK Raises £32K For NSPCC

Child Protection

On behalf of Gloucestershire FA and the NSPCC, Hugh Feltham, Gary Probert and Chris Lucker would like to thank everyone who generously supported their involvement in the 25 mile Malvern HACK Challenge Walk.  In excess of £32,000 has been raised by the all the walkers who participated in the event, and the donations are now being used to support the NSPCC's vital work with children and young people.

Over the last 4 years, a total of £250,000 has been raised by other people taking part in the HACKs and the planning of next year's nationwide walks is well underway.

The 2010 Malvern HACK – Hike Against Cruelty to Kids - will take place on Saturday, 26 June. It will follow a shorter route of 21 miles South to North and South again along the Malvern ridge, providing a simpler route than this year's.  There is also a possibility of a shorter "Family HACK" of 8.5 miles on the same day on the Malvern Hills.
