Referees' Association of England

The Referees' Association of England (RAE) is a National body which is made up of over 300 local Referees' Associations, Branches or Societies run by Referees for the benefit of Referees, providing assistance, support and guidance.

RA Branches for this county run in Bristol, Cheltenham, Cirencester, Dursley, the Forest of Dean, Gloucester and Stroud.  Meetings are generally held once a month to discuss different aspects of the game.  In-house training on the interpretation and implementation of law helps to improve match day skills and performances.  Referees representing higher levels of the game provide experience to those less experienced and newly qualified.

Added benefits of membership of the Referees Association include:

  • Personal access insurance scheme
  • Benevolent Fund
  • access to the RA shop for kit and equipment
