Bristol Futsal League
Futsal is UEFA’s official version of 5 a side football. The game originated in South America and has been a platform for some of the most skilful players in the world to learn and develop their talent. The game was created to reduce the unnecessary physical contact in today’s game and encourage close control, skill and pace allowing creative players to flourish.
Futsal is the only five-a-side game where you can represent England at International level plus there is a Futsal World Cup and European Championships for successful teams. About the Bristol futsal league:

The game has a 5 foul limit, on the 6th foul the opposition is rewarded a 10m penalty, which encourages teams to stand and not dive into tackles. The foul count law reduces the risk of injury.

Goalkeeping Sessions
Just4Keepers runs specialized weekly Goalkeeper training sessions throughout the South West for boys and girls aged six and upwards. Weekly training is designed to meet Goalkeepers’ individual needs to help them become the best keeper that they can be.
Training is in a FUN environment…with NO PRESSURE on the goalkeepers!
Coaching is taken by James Cope. James played for the Bristol City Football Club Academy and then youth team for 8 years, during which time he played over 200 games. At Bristol City James was trained by the best coaches including the first team Goalkeeper Coach. James has an FA Level 2 Coaching Certificate, the FA Age Appropriate Certificate, and a university degree in Sports Coaching. James coaches at a number of schools in Bristol and North Somerset and at the Bristol City Junior Academy. All the goalkeeping exercises and techniques that James teaches were learnt from 8 years valuable experience at a top professional club.
There are many techniques that keepers will develop through J4K to help them perform… to name but a few:
· Handling
· Diving (Which covers, taking off, landing, get up quicker etc)
· Footwork
· Distribution
· Shot Stopping
· Angles

· Positional play (where to stand for corners etc)

After two successful years The Bristol Saturday Youth League is planning to continue its expansion in season 2010-11.
Depending on the number of applicants in each age group, we are planning to offer single game 7 a side mini soccer for age groups u9s to u11s and 11-a-side football for u12s to u16s. Clubs can enter more than one 7-a-side team but these will be treated as separate entities.
The constitution of the league will not be finalised until the AGM on 2nd August so we welcome applications for all age groups and girls’ teams until then.
The BSYL is affiliated to the GFA. Membership of the league is open to all clubs who are affiliated to their local County Football Association. If you are not currently affiliated, it isn’t difficult to become so.

Beeches AFC - Summer Tournament
The Beeches AFC, Cirencester would like to invite you to enter our six-a-side tournament at the Cirencester Sports Complex, Kingshill, Cirencester.

The tournament will be affiliated to the Gloucestershire Football Association and ALL teams must be affiliated to their respective county associations to enter the tournament.
Age groups are relevant to the season just finished (2009-10)

Games will initially be run on a league basis with the runner- up and winner of each group going forward to the semi - final. Each age group will be limited to 12 teams, which will be 2 groups of 6 guaranteeing each team a minimum of 5 group matches.
The closing date for entries will be August 8th 2010 but we strongly advise you to submit your entry fee as early as possible to avoid being disappointed as the tournament will be on a first come first served basis due to the number of teams permitted to enter.

Forest Green Rovers F.C - Recruiting New Youth Players
Forest Green Rovers Youth Devolvement are currently looking for players to play in all ages from the Under 7s to the Under 18s level, for the forthcoming 2010/11 season.
If you are aged between 5 and 17 years old (under the age of 18 by 31st August 2010) then we want to hear from you.
Trials will take place 19th, 24th & 26th June 2010.

Almondsbury Youth FC - Coaches Required
We are actively seeking volunteers to coach next seasons U6, U7 & U8 teams.
Experience is not essential. A passion for football is!...as is the ability to influence and be a role model for childrens football development.
Formal FA approved Training and education courses will be funded by the club and a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check will be required. A full coaching and mentoring programme by existing coaches will be available to “ease” you into the role and to advise you on progress.

The youth development at Forest Green Rovers are in need of coaches for the 2010-2011 season, You will become part of a very successful voluntary team and we will even help you with any future courses you wish to go on.
We run teams from under 7s to under 18s and we are in need of a few coaches to fulfil each team with 3 teams to delegate all the tasks of running one of our youth teams.

Southside FC Under 8’s (Cheltenham) - second Coach Required
At present we have 18 very enthusiastic children who have been training on a weekly basis for over a year & have regular games against other teams
We are looking to recruit a second coach to start immediately, to work alongside our current coach with our Under 8 squad. This will enable the squad to be split into 2 teams, with a view to taking one of the teams forward into the league in September
Really we would require Level One qualified coach, however this is not essential, as we will put the right candidates through the courses if they are not qualified
The position is voluntary, & we train at Warden Hill School, Cheltenham on Saturday Mornings 9am – 10.00am
